In Tübingen’s beautiful Lower Town, an arts and crafts market is taking place, where around 70 exhibitors showcase their work. Craftsmanship is art. Craftsmanship is culture.
Around St. James’ Church, selected artists, artisans, and
craftspeople demonstrate just how fluid the boundaries between their fields of work
are.
Every year, the public is amazed by the originality of the ideas and the diverse ways in which wood, ceramics, stone, glass, metal, wool, paper, and other everyday materials are used. There are no limits to imagination and creativity at this market.
The supporting program includes music, theater, an exhibition, and the church café. Sat 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Sun 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
