Borken Christmas Market

When the scent of mulled wine, roasted almonds, and fir greenery fills the horse watering place, it's time: The town of Borken (Hesse) warmly invites you to the Borken Christmas Market 2025. On Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14, 2025, the square will transform into a festive meeting place for young and old alike.

Together with clubs, associations, and local merchants and exhibitors, a place of encounter will be created, where the Christmas atmosphere, craftsmanship, and culinary delights take center stage.

Christmas Raffle
A special highlight of this year's market is once again the grand Christmas raffle. Numerous attractive prizes – all donated by Borken businesspeople – await the lucky winners. The main prizes include: 1 high-quality flat-screen TV, a Makita cordless drill set, and a hot air fryer. The ticket price is €1.00.

Varied Stage Program
A varied stage program with many regional performers will ensure a festive atmosphere:
- Performances by the children from the Krausgasse daycare, Borken elementary school, and the Ukrainian children's choir "Colorful Bells"
- Alpacas & llamas to touch on Saturday afternoon
- Visit from Santa Claus on both afternoons – children can personally hand over their wish lists
- Zumba group Yvonne Winter will perform on Saturday afternoon
- Live music with the acoustic trio "True Colors" on Saturday evening
- Patrick Heidenreich & Band on Sunday afternoon
