One of the most beautiful weekly markets in Frankfurt runs on its own clock. And that clock has been around since 1873. Around the little clock tower on Berger Straße beats the heart of Bornheim – especially on Wednesdays and Saturdays. That’s when one of the most beautiful weekly markets in the city is set up here. In addition to fruits, vegetables, meat, and cheese, you can also find spices and teas, wine, and to satisfy your immediate hunger, bratwurst, crêpes, or Handkäse with music. And you can always check the right time on the clock tower from 1873. It is the landmark of the neighborhood; the four clock faces are now centrally controlled. Around its base, there is a wooden bench – you couldn’t find a more relaxed spot to watch the colorful market hustle and bustle.
