Guided tour in the visitor mine

Under expert guidance, you will gain insights into the working methods of the miners, the formation of slate, and the production of slate tiles at the visitor mine.
Note: Sturdy footwear is recommended. The ground in the mine is paved and may be wet depending on the weather. Access to the mine is via a relatively short staircase, and the circular route to the exit is flat. The temperature in the mine is approximately 8°C year-round.

The tours take place at the following times and last 60 - 70 minutes:
