Star Guides on the Dörnberg

Experience the Dörnberg at night and learn about one of humanity's oldest cultural treasures: the starry sky. On a dark, clear night, there is much to discover. How do you navigate using the sky? What legends did our ancestors tell? And what can you see through a telescope? Depending on the season, we will gaze at the Milky Way, planets, the ISS, galactic nebulae, or distant galaxies, and sometimes a shooting star may zip by. There will be something for every age group.
Information: Be sure to wear warm clothing for winter. Please use flashlights covered with red film only, as bright lights can disturb the observations. Feel free to bring binoculars, a reclining chair, and a camping chair.
