Schützenfest Usseln translates to "Usseln Marksmen's Festival" in English.

The Usseln shooting festival always takes place on the last weekend in July. Top bands from Germany or Austria perform as the festival orchestra, supported by numerous local bands during the grand parade on Sunday. A special highlight every year is the visit of the Dutch "Dweilorkest Tis niks wut niks," which brings plenty of atmosphere to the parade and the festival grounds on Sunday.

The grand parade on Sunday is always worth seeing, featuring numerous decorated carriages, various marching groups, and many music bands from near and far. Following the parade, all participating bands create a lively atmosphere in and around the shooting hall, and in the evening, there is great dance music.
