Regular tours in the gold mine

Visit the unique gold mine in the "Lower Deep Valley Tunnel" in Germany's largest gold deposit. Experience an adventurous tour in the Lower Deep Valley Tunnel, where gold was already mined in the Middle Ages. Equipped with a safety helmet, protective jacket, rubber boots, and a mining lamp, you will explore the world inside the Iron Mountain. Protective clothing will be provided, and you may also wear your own sturdy and waterproof hiking shoes.

Meeting point: Zechenhaus at the community center in 34497 Korbach-Goldhausen, Turmweg 4 (always at the start of the tour).
Walking distance between Zechenhaus and the visitor tunnel (partly steep uphill and downhill): approx. 5-10 minutes.
Duration of the tour: approx. 2 hours.
