The Wine and the Romans. What did they know about viticulture? Climate change has a lasting impact on viticulture in our region. The oldest specialized books on viticulture were written by Roman authors such as Varro and Columella. What advice did they have for viticulture, and what significance did wine hold in Roman times? In addition to expert information, we will also enjoy some entertaining stories during a wine tasting (2 wines) and snacks in a relaxed gathering.
