On the occasion of the Kirbe in Kernen, the traditional nursery will provide unique insights into its fascinating plant world on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Hegnacher Str. 31, 71394 Kernen-Rommelshausen, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You will have the rare opportunity to look behind the scenes of professional cactus cultivation during guided tours and gather inspiration for your own home in a relaxed atmosphere.
Program Highlights:
Exclusive Tours
Knowledgeable gardeners will guide you through all areas of the nursery – from propagation and cultivation greenhouses to the exhibition halls. Experience how magnificent cacti grow from tiny seeds.
Children's Program
In the children's garden, young guests can pot their own plants under guidance. Creative painting and other age-appropriate activities will ensure plenty of fun.
Cactus Sowing to Participate
The Cactus Friends of Württemberg will demonstrate the sowing technique. Participants will receive seeds and instructions to observe germination at home.
Bargain Corner
Attractive second-choice plants will be offered at significantly reduced prices – ideal for bargain hunters and explorers.
Coffee and Cake
Homemade cakes, savory pretzels, coffee, and refreshing drinks will cater to your physical well-being.
