The Schlitzer Castle Christmas is particularly famous for having the largest candle in the world. The historic Hinterturm of the town is draped in red cloth and shines as a 42-meter tall candle, which is even listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Visitors can take an elevator in the tower to the top of the candle to enjoy a unique view of the picturesque Christmas market.
