Swabian-Alemannic world music from the travel suitcase and much more: Who doesn't know the West Allgäu folk band BREKKIE’S INN? And although some concertgoers kindly equate BREKKIE’S INN with "home," the Swabians have always been a travel-loving people. Whether the destination is the Balkans, rich lands in the East, or the so-called "New World," you can find them or their traces everywhere. So, it’s no surprise that BREKKIE’S INN continues their journey, which began 18 years ago in the "Swabian Highlands," joyfully beyond the narrow borders of their homeland, igniting a musical fireworks display as they travel through countries and cultures. No matter how different the songs may be, BREKKIE’S INN masterfully succeeds in blending styles and cultures, and they once again prove their musical excellence with "Imagine...!", their current fifth CD.
