Radolfzell am Bodensee

Fr. 12.06.26 14:00 Uhr Zur Sägemühle 1 Böhringen: im Freien am Bänkle Sa. 17.10.26 11:00 Uhr Stadtbibliothek Marktplatz 8, 78315 Radolfzell am Bodensee

The writing group meets regularly, writes pieces about Radolfzell to mark the town’s anniversary, and presents them to the public. Funding is provided for a museum visit and two workshops. For over three years, eight women who could not be more different have been writing together regularly as part of the group “Miteinander schreiben” (Writing Together). The women meet twice a month at the TeggIn community center at 10 Teggingerstraße to get creative together. For their readings as part of the city’s anniversary celebrations, the writing group has set out to trace the lives of figures who are significant to Radolfzell. Their texts demonstrate the many ways in which one can approach Radolfzell and the people who live and have lived here through literature. The eight women will present the results of their work at three readings, each featuring new texts: Friday, June 12, 2:00–2:45 p.m. in Böhringen at Sägemühle 1 (outdoors) and Saturday, October 17, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at the City Library, Marktplatz 8. The reading at the Multi-Generational House will be accompanied by Christiane Hermann and Christina Bretzke on the accordion. The project is a citizen-led initiative funded by the city to mark the city’s anniversary. Thanks to this funding, the “Miteinander schreiben” group was able to organize various workshops under professional guidance: theater-based training to develop voice, expression, and stage presence, as well as workshops led by an experienced writing coach and educator. The group’s goal is to experience the joy of writing together, to promote intergenerational dialogue, and to engage people of all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds and inspire them to write. Anyone interested is warmly invited to attend the group meetings. Information: Diakonie Multigenerational House, Tel. 7732 952786.
