For the city anniversary, a European hackberry tree / Celtis australis will be planted in the city garden to make a statement for the environment and climate. The hackberry tree is considered a climate tree that copes well with drought and heat. It is an extraordinary and rare garden tree. The German name "Zürgelbaum" comes from South Tyrol, where the edible fruits are called "Zürgeln."
