Spiritual and secular music in the church

The concert series is taking place for the fifth time this year. A diverse program of high musical quality will be offered. Two original compositions by Rudolf Würthner will be featured, along with the Sarabande by Friedrich Haag, who processes the loss of his beloved with this melancholic piece, a melodic Adagio from the Symphonic Suite by Wolfgang Jacobi, and the slow yet passionate Tango Oblivion (Oblivion) by Astor Piazzolla. The highlight will be the Gothic Suite by Léon Boellmann, which was composed in the late Romantic style and premiered in 1897 at the church in Dijon; the Toccata is one of the most frequently performed organ works of all time. The performance will be given by the Kollnauer Accordion Ensemble under the direction of Michael Huck, which presents itself at a high musical level. The ensemble will be supported by Heike Wissler on the Elektronium, Eckehard Kampmann on the E-piano, and Oliver Keil on drums.
