Together with the support association, the Elztalmuseum invites you to a political and satirical cabaret evening with Konstantin Schmidt on October 29 at 7:30 PM. In his new program, Konstantin Schmidt poses the question: What of all the new things is relevant? What is truly essential these days: love, fresh air, or perhaps the charging cable? Many societal issues are ultimately also technical issues. Technology creates problems, but it also solves them. It seems impossible to do without it, as even in the 1980s it was said: "Everyone wants to return to nature, just not on foot." Although technology usually plays an important role in current topics, surprisingly, there are hardly any technicians in politics or cabaret – whether trained or educated. It’s no wonder that technology is often assigned the role of a mythical savior in speeches, a joker that can always be played when nothing else fits. Konstantin Schmidt is a cabaret artist at the piano and an engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering. The latter helps him maintain a technical perspective, while the former helps him keep his sense of humor. Both culminate in his characteristic humorous and unusual songs and texts. In his latest solo program, he wants to find out: Community college or YouTube? Who will take me further?
