Bach Cantata and Trumpet Concerto

As part of the "Bach Time 2025" in Badenweiler/Müllheim, the cantata BWV 37 "Whoever believes and is baptized" by Johann Sebastian Bach will be performed during the church service on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the Evangelical City Church of Müllheim. The festive cantata for Ascension Day 1724 in Leipzig is composed for four-part choir, vocal soloists, oboe d’amore, strings, and basso continuo. Additional sacred choral pieces as well as the Concerto for Trumpet and Organ by Antonio Vivaldi will crown the musical service. The Markgräfler District Choir and vocal soloists will perform, accompanied by the Bach Cantata Orchestra. Conducted by Regional Cantor Horst K. Nonnenmacher. Great organ: Beata Veres-Nonnenmacher.
