The National Day of Mourning is a special day of remembrance in Germany for the victims of war and violence. The National Day of Mourning is not only associated with commemorating the victims of the two World Wars. It is also meant to serve as a reminder of how precious life in peace is. Program schedule: 10:00 AM: Catholic Church St. Martin and St. Georg, 78354 Sipplingen, followed by a joint walk to the cemetery. Approximately 11:15 AM: Memorial ceremony for the National Day of Mourning at the chapel on the cemetery, In der Breite 7.
