Christmas Market at Pillingen Castle Estate

This year, our Christmas market will feature our lively nativity play, a great selection of craft stalls, Christmas baked goods, and other specialties from our courtyard café and farm. At 3 PM, we will open our courtyard gate and welcome you with our café specialties and Christmas treats. These range from organic espresso variations and hot masala chai tea to our traditional stollen and stollen confection made from our organic grain. The dried fruits are soaked in quince brandy from Hemersdorf, produced by the Monter distillery. The eggs come from our own chickens, and the fine pastries are leavened with our sourdough culture. We offer whole grain breads made from our rye, wheat, and spelt flours, baked in loaves or free-formed. Enjoy sausages and grilled steaks from our own pigs, our potatoes from the fire pot with herb quark, mulled wine from the organic winery Ollinger-Gelz, and mulled cider from the organic fruit farm of Josef Jacoby. A highlight is the evening nativity play for the little ones. Our cows, sheep, and horses will perform the Christmas story against a beautiful backdrop. We look forward to seeing you!
