Diving Deep: The Most Exciting Dive Destinations in the World – 3D Image Presentation

Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus e.V.

Fallenbrunnen 17, 88045 Friedrichshafen

Dive in the truest sense of the word into a world that remains hidden from most people. The renowned 3D photographer Stephan Schulz takes you on this captivating journey beneath the water's surface to the most exciting dive destinations in the world. From the quarries of Saxony and the coral reefs of the Red Sea, the adventure continues to the legendary Cocos Island in the East Pacific. Schools of hammerhead sharks, rays, and other large fish make this dive site a "shark-light" for every underwater photographer. In Africa, you will experience the colorful underwater worlds of Lake Tanganyika and Lake Malawi, or the Wild Coast of South Africa with its Sardine Run - the most spectacular wildlife event on the continent! Every year in the South African winter, gigantic schools of sardines migrate along South Africa's east coast, attracting a huge armada of predators, including sharks, dolphins, and cape gannets. It also gets really interesting in the cold-water regions. Stephan Schulz snorkeled with seals and walruses, experienced the clearest water in the world with a visibility of 120 meters, and dove into a spectacular underwater chimney that is usually only found in the deep sea. He traveled by dog sled over a frozen Greenland fjord to photograph icebergs frozen in ice in water at -3 degrees Celsius. In the Philippines, he captured sensational macro 3D images, and in Mexico, he literally dove into the underworld of the Mayans - the crystal-clear cenotes. A surreal underwater world with stalactites, light plays, and fossilized skeletons, accessible only with a healthy dose of respect for this very demanding type of diving. He also photographed the blue whale - the largest animal to have ever lived on our planet. Experience an overwhelming 3D visual feast - a three-dimensional visual experience that is uniquely live on stage in the German-speaking world!
