Birkenfeld Christmas Market

On the first weekend of December, the Birkenfeld Christmas Market invites you to browse and enjoy around the church. Over 40 stalls, music, culinary delights, a visit from St. Nicholas, and handicrafts create a festive atmosphere in the church square and the community center. The traditional Christmas market takes place in Birkenfeld on the first full weekend of December, in the church square and the Martin Luther Community Center. The Christmas market welcomes you on Saturday from 1 PM to 10 PM and on Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM. At more than 40 stalls run by clubs, institutions, and private vendors, you will find a diverse range of beautiful, useful, and reflective items for personal use or as gifts. You can also choose from a wide culinary selection. A colorful supporting program will enrich the Christmas market. On both days, schools, clubs, and churches will present a varied program on the stage in front of the Evangelical Church. A musical highlight awaits visitors on Saturday evening with the big band "Brandheiß" from Pforzheim. Young market visitors will enjoy the carousel and a visit from St. Nicholas. He will visit the Christmas market on both festive days and is sure to have a few little surprises for the children. Due to the positive experiences from last year, there will be a second edition of the Birkenfeld Christmas Market mugs, which can be purchased at the stalls for a deposit and are intended to contribute to waste reduction. The concurrently held handicraft market in the Martin Luther Community Center will be open on both market days (Saturday until 8 PM) and offers an additional opportunity to stay and shop with the café of the Evangelical Church community and the stalls of hobby artists.
