Felix Reuter - The Complicated Classics

Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus e.V.

Reinhold-Würth-Str. 15, 74653 Künzelsau-Gaisbach

Join Felix Reuter on a humorous journey through classical music works. How did Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" come to be? What would have happened if Beethoven and Bach had known each other? What does Frank Sinatra have to do with Franz Liszt? In no textbook or classical concert can you learn so much about the lives and music of Europe's most famous composers in such a short time. Music comedian Felix Reuter pulls no punches and presents his own versions of the classical masterpieces. The pianist from Weimar reveals which melodies were cleverly borrowed then and now. In an original way, he showcases to the audience what new works emerged from them. Felix Reuter studied music education at the "Franz Liszt" University of Music in Weimar. As a freelance pianist, he has appeared multiple times in TV productions and has been touring Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with his extraordinary concert programs since 2007. Look forward to an entertaining excursion that will work your abdominal muscles and provide intelligent listening pleasure. A must for every classical music lover and an eye-opening experience for all classical newcomers!
