chocolART - International Chocolate Festival

Chocolate connects – and that’s exactly what makes the Tübingen chocolART an unforgettable experience! From December 1 to 6, 2026, the historic old town will transform into a paradise for chocolate lovers. Around 90 exclusive chocolatiers and manufacturers from all over the world will present their finest creations – from Italy to Belgium, Ecuador, and Peru. The white pagoda tents and their sweet contents will make Tübingen the most beautiful center of enjoyment for six days. Chocolate lovers from near and far will be enchanted, following the creamy-bitter scents and delighting in chocolatey specialties. In the chocolateROOM at the marketplace, delicate chocolate artworks will be created live, including the popular Tübingen chocolate foam kiss chocoLINO. Want to experience chocolate art up close? You can also do so at Dorte Schetter's cocoa painting, where tradition meets creativity. The projection artists of the Tübingen light art studio "leucht-werk" will provide a fairy-tale lighting for the old town. The facades will transform into a dreamy backdrop through artistic illuminations. Tue 1 PM – 8 PM / Wed to Fri 10 AM – 8 PM / Sat 10 AM – 10 PM / Sun 11 AM – 6 PM With the special day ticket, up to 5 people can travel around the Tübingen city area (Mon – Fri from 8:30 AM, otherwise all day) at about 30% less than with the group day ticket until the end of operations. On ticket-free Saturdays, rides within the Tübingen city area on all TüBus lines, the Ammertalbahn, and lines 826/828 are free from 12:00 AM to Sunday 5:00 AM. On this day, passengers using the ticket-free lines do not need to purchase a special day ticket.
