chocolART - International Chocolate Festival

Chocolate brings people together – and that's exactly what makes Tübingen's chocolART such an unforgettable experience! From December 1 to 6, 2026, the historic old town will be transformed into a paradise for chocolate lovers. Around 90 exclusive chocolatiers and manufacturers from all over the world will present their finest creations – from Italy and Belgium to Ecuador and Peru. The white pagoda tents and their sweet contents will make Tübingen the most delightful center of indulgence for six days. Chocolate lovers from near and far will be enchanted, following the creamy, tangy aromas and marveling at the chocolatey specialties. In the chocolateROOM on the market square, delicate chocolate works of art are created live, including the popular Tübingen chocolate marshmallow treat chocoLINO. Want to experience chocolate art up close? You can do that at Dorte Schetter's cocoa painting, where tradition meets creativity. The projection artists from the Tübingen light art studio "leucht-werk" provide fairy-tale lighting in the old town. The facades are transformed into a dreamlike backdrop by artistic illuminations. Tue 1 p.m.–8 p.m. / Wed to Fri 10 a.m.–8 p.m. / Sat 10 a.m.–10 p.m. / Sun 11 a.m.–6 p.m. With the special day ticket (Mon–Fri from 8:30 a.m., otherwise all day), up to 5 people can travel around the Tübingen city area until closing time at around 30% less than with the group day ticket. On ticket-free Saturdays, travel within the Tübingen city area on all TüBus lines, the Ammertalbahn railway, and lines 826/828 is free from midnight until 5 a.m. on Sunday. On this day, passengers using the ticket-free lines do not need to purchase a special day ticket.
