New Exhibition City Museum

After twenty years, the Radolfzell City Museum is renewing its permanent exhibition. As a first step, the foyer on the first floor has been completely redesigned. The newly conceived exhibition invites visitors on an interactive journey through time, allowing them to gain an overview of the settlement history of the city. An important element is the variety of interactive opportunities in the new space. Here, drawers can be pulled out to view their contents, flaps can be opened, or a neighborhood puzzle can be played. To enhance the overall visual impression, the lighting has also been modernized. The exhibition concludes with a display case that will be filled with a new object each year, whether it be a new acquisition for the museum or a loan from the community. After all, every everyday object can write history – perhaps the item that has particularly moved us this year will one day be showcased in the museum. Public tours of the expanded permanent exhibition will take place on Friday, March 27, and Friday, April 17, each at 3 PM. The new space is the centerpiece of the City Museum's permanent exhibition and will be open for visits from January 22, Thursdays to Sundays, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
