Halloween Reading "Fantastic, Uncanny & Horrifying"

Nordschwarzwald Legends Meet World Literature An Evening for Goosebumps, Horror, and Great Literature! The Neuweiler Community Library invites you to a special reading before Halloween, where dark legends from the Northern Black Forest meet classics of world literature. In a atmospheric setting, the following texts will be read in this order: "The Wild Lake" – Legend from the Northern Black Forest "Dracula's Guest" – Short story by Bram Stoker "The Picture in the House" – Short story by H.P. Lovecraft (Break: approximately 30–40 minutes) "The Place of Execution" – Legend from Neuenbürg "Ghosts. A Fantasy" – Short story by Ivan Turgenev "Of the Schorchanges" – Legend from Würzbach/Agenbach Immerse yourself in a world between reality and madness – mystical, eerie, and hauntingly beautiful.
