Country tour Albstadt

Participants in the country tour can choose from four mountain bike routes between 21 and 98 km. This event is not a bike race, but rather a series of signposted routes that can be ridden at your own pace. All routes run mainly on paved forest paths, but mountain bikes or trekking bikes with good tires are recommended. Helmets are, of course, mandatory. Pedelecs with appropriate tires and maximum assistance up to 25 km/h, commonly known as e-bikes, are also welcome. The well-signposted routes offer different elevation profiles. There is a wide range, from a leisurely 400 meters to a physically demanding 2100 meters of elevation gain. So that you can leave your backpack at home, the club provides one to three refreshment stations along the route, depending on the length of the route. At the start and finish at the festival hall in Lautlingen, the club provides catering for cyclists and guests. There is a choice of different dishes, including schnitzel and potato salad or the obligatory pasta dish, followed by coffee and cake. Participants can start from 7:30 a.m. Depending on the route chosen, it is also possible to start until 2:00 p.m. Towards the end of the event, there will be prizes for the three best teams. The total number of kilometers cycled will be decisive. Each participant will support the Tannheim Aftercare Clinic with two cents per kilometer cycled. The Tannheim Aftercare Clinic gives families with seriously chronically ill children new strength and hope. As part of its family-oriented aftercare program for children with cancer, heart disease, or cystic fibrosis, it offers highly qualified treatment for the entire family.
