"Sounding Münster"

A sonic journey through the ages. In cooperation with the State University of Music Trossingen, the music school Radolfzell invites you to a festive conclusion of the anniversary year with the "Klingende Münster" for an evening filled with music, community, and the glow of lights. In the poetically illuminated Münster of Our Lady, musicians from the State University of Music Trossingen and the music school Radolfzell will portray the 1,200-year history of Radolfzell in a variety of sound colors. Together, they will create a diverse musical mosaic that takes the audience on an atmospheric journey through time. The program will be performed twice on December 12 – at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Between the two concerts, at 6:45 PM, a special communal experience will take place in the marketplace (free admission): After a welcome by Mayor Simon Gröger, everyone present will transform into a large choir under the direction of Pia Löb (cantor of the Christuskirche) and sing Advent songs together. Accompanied by a brass ensemble made up of the trombone choir of the Christuskirche and the youth wind orchestra Radolfzell, led by Norbert Steiner and Kuno Rauch, a moment of connection and a musical sign of togetherness will emerge, making Radolfzell so vibrant.
