"Sigmaringen Reads": Artist duo presents stage play with literary and musical elements

Imre Török and Agathe Paglia present a lively stage performance featuring literary texts and songs as part of "Sigmaringen reads," a series of events for literature enthusiasts in southern Baden-Württemberg. The foundation of the performance is Imre Török's novel "Island of Elephants: This Side and Beyond Memories." The artist duo stages passages from the novel. It often becomes paradisiacal when Agathe Paglia expresses her charismatic songs. Together, they take their audience on a humorous and contemplative journey, sometimes crazy, sometimes poetic, and often political.
