The countless classics of the world's most famous folk rock duo are combined with the unmistakable sound of a classical string ensemble. With songs like "The Sound of Silence" and "Cecilia," Simon & Garfunkel created poetic anthems for an entire generation. "Mrs. Robinson" became world-famous in 1969 through the American feature film "The Graduate." In 1968, the American duo wrote "The Boxer," a highly emotional tribute to a survivor. Two years later, "Bridge Over Troubled Water," a composition of simple beauty, entered music history as a message of hope. For several years now, the duo Graceland has been intensely exploring the musical spirit of their idols and has been touring the country with the program "A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel" with great success. Thomas Wacker (Paul Simon) and Thorsten Gary (Art Garfunkel) quickly realized that the music of Simon & Garfunkel is perfectly suited to combine the countless classics of the world's most famous folk rock duo with the unmistakable sound of a classical string ensemble. The interplay of the two voices and two guitars with the classical instruments transforms the songs of Simon & Garfunkel into an expressive and extraordinary musical experience. Concertgoers can expect an evening full of emotion, a tribute to the 60s and 70s, and a musical diversity rarely seen. With a band and quartet, they traverse the heartfelt songs and "rock" their audience in other places.
