Carnival Parade Ellwangen

At the end of the carnival season, the traditional Fastnacht parade takes place on Shrove Tuesday in Ellwangen, winding through the streets of the historic old town. Led by the NaPo, numerous groups march through the streets. In the past, there has been something for everyone among the groups: whether it be dance troupes, music bands, walking groups, Guggenmusiken, witches, or the large floats - there was always plenty for visitors to marvel at. After the parade, celebrations continue in the restaurants and pubs, as well as on the streets.
