Burning of witches in Bernau in the Black Forest

Farewell to the wonderful carnival season! The symbolic burning of the witch with the Guggenmusik band "Gugge-Dubel" and the Bernau carnival guild marks the grand finale of the carnival season. The traditional witch burning marks the high point and at the same time the end of the Alemannic carnival in Bernauer Hochtal. Together with the rousing Guggenmusik of the "Gugge-Dubel" and the Bernau Fools' Guild, we bid farewell to the carnival season. The event takes place at the valley station of the Spitzenberg ski lift, where the witch is ceremoniously burned at 6:00 p.m. The festive atmosphere is accompanied by delicious food and warm hospitality.
