May Festival with Maypole Raising

On April 30, 2026, the municipality of Dobel warmly invites you to the traditional Maypole raising at the village square. Celebrations will begin at 5:30 PM, where people will gather in a friendly atmosphere – and of course, the Maypole will be erected. As every year, the volunteer Maypole team, with the active support of the Dobel Volunteer Fire Department, will ensure the festive raising of the Maypole. This beautiful tradition not only brings the village community together but is also a true highlight in the event calendar. There will also be plenty of food available: The Sportfreunde Dobel team will offer culinary delights from the grill. A diverse selection of beverages will complement the offerings. The Friends of the Kindergarten at Sonnenwegle and the KiTa team will provide fresh waffles. The municipality of Dobel looks forward to welcoming many visitors and warmly invites everyone!
