Concert Lauterbacher Vocal Ensemble "Dona nobis pacem"

Do you know Eleanor Daley, Kim André Arnesen, and Michael Trotta? More specifically, their choral music? Whether it's a new discovery or a "reunion," it is definitely worth experiencing the diverse sounds of these and other works at this year's concert of the Lauterbach Vocal Ensemble. Charming harmonies, beautiful melodies, and a range of vocal colors characterize the pieces that the 15-member ensemble has dedicated itself to. In addition to the three mentioned composers, the program also includes music by Eric Whitacre, Arvo Pärt, Heinrich Schütz, and Claudio Monteverdi.

In alternation with the choir, there will be instrumental performances: Oboist Silke Augustinski will be a guest and fill the church space with the sounds of her wonderful instrument. She studied oboe at the University of Music in Würzburg and was, among other accolades, a prizewinner at the International Woodwind Competition in St. Petersburg (2011). Silke Augustinski works as an oboe teacher and as a freelance musician.

Furthermore, Tabea Fischer and Claudia Regel will perform music for organ four hands. The concert begins on November 2 at 6 PM in the Stadtkirche Lauterbach. Admission is free.
