Hand in hand, the group – consisting of six dedicated and volunteer members – collaborates with the construction yard and the municipality. The historic walls of the castle provide a perfect backdrop for the market, which enchants visitors with lights, festive decorations, and an inviting atmosphere. Colorful stalls line the paths, offering a variety of handmade gifts, regional delicacies, and festive specialties. The scent of mulled wine, roasted almonds, and freshly baked gingerbread fills the air, inviting everyone to experience the culinary delights of the season. Amidst the historic architecture, visitors can stroll, browse, and be enchanted by the Christmas spirit at their leisure. The market is particularly a highlight for families. Children can look forward to exciting attractions such as a children's train and a storyteller who will take the little ones into the magical world of the Advent season. This year, the group will also provide a colorful stage program, featuring festive songs and Christmas melodies to set the mood for visitors. The Burg Advent Market, with its wonderful family atmosphere, will be ceremoniously opened on Friday evening, November 28, 2025, at 5 PM and will end on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10 PM.
