Nikolaus Market Bad Rappenau

The Nikolausmarkt invites you to cozy stalls, handmade gifts, festive treats, and music. Children can craft and meet St. Nicholas. In a warm, festive atmosphere, the pre-Christmas season can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. Finally, the time has come again – the Nikolausmarkt 2025 is just around the corner! On Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, the pedestrian zone will once again be transformed into a festively decorated Christmas village.

Festive Offerings and Activities
Around 20 stalls – lovingly run by local clubs, kindergartens, and school classes – invite you to stroll, indulge, and browse. There will be Christmas items, handmade goods, and of course plenty of treats. There is also something for the little ones: a carousel and sweet snacks are a must!

Official Start of the Nikolausmarkt
Both days will kick off at 4:00 PM. At the opening on Friday, Mayor Sebastian Frei will welcome the visitors. From 7:00 PM, Fuego Diego will dazzle with his spectacular fire juggling, bringing bright eyes and warm hearts.

A Visit from St. Nicholas
In keeping with tradition, Bishop Nicholas will be a guest on December 6 and will have a small gift for every well-behaved child. Additionally, the women’s group MOSAIK from Fürfeld invites you to craft in the town hall foyer: funny snowmen and reindeer will be created there. Participation is free – but the group would greatly appreciate a small donation.

Musical Contributions
The event will also be festive musically, with contributions from the Evangelical Kindergarten Friedensstraße, students from the combined school, the school orchestra of the Rappenau schools, the music school Unterer Neckar, and the brass choir Bad Rappenau.

Culinary Variety
Whether sweet or savory – there’s something for everyone: cookies, candied almonds, Christmas stollen, crêpes, waffles, and cakes are available, as well as bratwurst, meatloaf sandwiches, flammkuchen, fries, as well as mulled wine, children's punch, and hot chocolate.

Open Shops in the City Center
Not only does the Nikolausmarkt invite you to linger – many shops in the pedestrian zone and in the city square will also be open until 7 PM on Friday.

Atmospheric Ambiance
On both days, visitors can expect a cozy, pre-Christmas celebration for young and old. Flickering fire bowls create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Let yourself be enchanted by the cozy ambiance and enjoy some carefree hours during the pre-Christmas season!
