Following the huge success of the last parties, this time there will again be plenty of hits from four decades to enjoy. DJ 6tyfour, alias Wolfgang Aich, will be spinning hot records starting at 8 PM at the Casino. Here, it’s all about the music, not the age of the guests (Doors open: 7:30 PM). Attendees can look forward to hits and evergreens from the 1950s to the 1980s. For DJ 6tyfour, the name says it all. He plays oldies in their original versions and is happy when the audience shares his excitement over Wanda Jackson, The Beatles, The Cordettes, as well as Manfred Mann, Abba, Kool & The Gang, and much more from "back in the day." His repertoire includes Schlager, NDW, rock, and as a hobby boogie dancer, he also loves to play boogie-woogie and rock’n’roll. So, it’s exactly the kind of music that used to get the party going. DJ 6tyfour plays the songs in their original versions. “No thumping transitions and no scratching,” he emphasizes.

DJ 6tyfour started his career in the late 1970s in youth work in Friedrichshafen, occasionally DJing. “That was the time when, as a DJ, you would buy five or six of the top ten records like Flashdance, Cambodia, and Skandal im Sperrbezirk at the local drugstore a few days before the gig with your saved pocket money to be up to date for the evening,” he explains. Now, as someone over 50 (and soon even over 60), oldies from the 1950s to the 1980s are exactly his thing. He was already “on the road” with the sounds of the 70s and 80s back then. He fondly remembers Gusti's Pop Shops in the old festival hall in Friedrichshafen or the many parties surrounding youth work in the city. As a vintage fan, he soon discovered his love for the music of the 1950s and 60s. He particularly enjoys playing sounds from that era, spanning a wide range from Connie Francis to Peter Alexander, Elvis, and Chuck Berry. If the audience enjoys it, he’s also happy to play songs from the 70s and 80s. Since 2017, Wolfgang Aich has been active as a DJ again, at private events as well as public ones. For example, in 2023, he played at the exhibitor party of the Klassikwelt at the Friedrichshafen fair or at the vintage party on the "Sonnenkönigin" on Lake Constance. “Since I am often asked when my sound will be heard again, I am looking forward to being able to perform at the Kulturhaus Caserne for the first time in October. Let’s have a dance party tonight!” DJ 6tyfour exclaims.
