He repairs vacuum cleaners and dreams of being a street musician. She is a pianist and a mother. Together, they discover a delicate connection in music that brings hope and makes a new future possible. A young man, who lives with his father and repairs vacuum cleaners in an electronics store while also working as a street musician in Dublin, dreams of one day making it big with his music. One day, he meets a young pianist who is getting by with odd jobs and is a single mother. When they play music together, they both immediately realize: something special is happening here. They share not only a passion for music but also a longing for a fresh start. However, their past cannot be easily shaken off – he carries the memory of a former love in his songs, while she struggles with the responsibility for her little daughter and the distance from her husband, who lives in the Czech Republic. Together with a colorful band, they record the soundtrack of their lives and dream of a future that belongs entirely to them – filled with hope, music, and new possibilities. The performance of the piece is organized by the Württemberg State Theatre Esslingen. A successful combination of play and musical that is suitable for everyone.
