Art tour with ArsCubis as part of the exhibition "Shades of Calw"

As part of the exhibition project "Shades of Calw," Achim Großmann and Silvia Eisele, also known as ArsCubis, are showcasing their artworks at the Calw District Office until December 8. The artist duo will offer guided tours on October 30 and November 6 at 4 PM, meeting at the main entrance of the District Office.

Art tours and artist talks with ArsCubis at the District Office: Achim Großmann and Silvia Eisele bridge nature, contemporary forms of expression, and internationally recognized art projects with their works. As part of the art project "Shades of Calw," they are exhibiting their artworks at the Calw District Office until December 8. The presentation can be seen as a retrospective of the last 10 years of their work and highlights the wide range of their creations. It features a fascinating spectrum, starting with the first ArsCubis images made from several thousand wooden cubes, through object art, to series of works made from traditional apple varieties. Impressive large-format acrylic paintings complement the exhibition.

On the lower level, there is a 25 square meter model displaying 468 photographs of traditional apple varieties from the project "Metamorphosis." Due to their artistic engagement with the theme of 'traditional apple varieties,' they have been invited to the Venice Biennale 2024. Next year, the artist duo will be represented in Venice with large-format gallery prints.

The artist duo offers two art tours, each on Thursdays, October 30 and November 6, from 4 PM to 6 PM. Meeting point is at the main entrance of the District Office. Visitors have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with the artists, ask them questions, or simply seek discourse about art. The exhibition project "Shades of Calw" will extend throughout the year 2025, providing selected Calw artists with the opportunity to present themselves in the form of solo exhibitions.
