Advent season in the districts of Sigmaringen

In the Sigmaringen districts of Laiz, Gutenstein, Jungnau, Oberschmeien, and Unterschmeien, there are festive Christmas markets, beautiful concerts, and Advent afternoons during the Advent season.

Gutenstein • December 14, 2025: Village Advent starting at 3:00 PM with an impulse in the St. Gallus Church in Gutenstein, followed by a gathering in the parish garden with sausages in rolls, mulled wine, and punch. The music association Eintracht Gutenstein will provide hospitality and entertainment.

Laiz • December 6, 2025: Village Christmas starting at 2:00 PM in front of the Laiz Town Hall. • December 14, 2025: Senior Advent celebration starting at 2:30 PM in the Laiz Festival Hall.

Jungnau • December 6, 2025: Winter village festival of the Jungnau associations starting at 5:00 PM at the Burgplatz in Jungnau, featuring culinary and musical highlights and regional products.

Oberschmeien • November 29, 2025: Concert by the music band "Harmonie" starting at 8:00 PM in the Schmeientalhalle. • November 30, 2025: Advent afternoon of the men's singing club Schmeien starting at 2:30 PM in the Schmeientalhalle. • December 3, 2025: Senior Nikolaus celebration starting at 2:00 PM at the Krone in Unterschmeien. • December 26, 2025: Theater "Christmas Performance" starting at 4:00 PM in the Schmeientalhalle. • December 27 & 28, 2025: Theater "Christmas Performance" starting at 7:30 PM in the Schmeientalhalle.

Unterschmeien • December 6, 2025: Nikolaus visit for the singles of Unterschmeien. • December 13, 2025: Village Advent starting at 4:30 PM in front of the "Old Schoolhouse." • December 24, 2025: Christmas Eve service with nativity play at St. Anna Church.
