Atmospheric Christmas Market at Breitenauer See - held annually on the 2nd Advent weekend with crafts and culinary delights. One of the most extraordinary Christmas markets in Baden-Württemberg. Over 80 festively decorated wooden huts featuring lovingly crafted handicrafts and culinary treats entice the senses. Christmas live music and craft demonstrations, as well as many activities for children, entertain visitors of all ages. With a charming illumination, the lakeside Christmas is also a very special visual experience.

Discover - Handcrafted & Decorative Items at the Market Stalls: Christmas nativity scenes, turned woodwork, natural soaps and cosmetics, minerals and fossils, wreaths, mistletoe, incense, birdhouses and feeding stations, felted items, crocheted, knitted, pottery, and crafts made from various materials.

Takeaway Delights: Honey products, smoked meats, schnapps, liqueurs, syrups, vinegar, gin, Swabian whisky, rum, chocolates, pasta, Christmas baked goods.

On-site Enjoyment - Food & Drinks by the Lake: Skewers, smoked fish, wild boar sausages, potato dumplings, stew, potato dumplings, steaks in a roll, Maultaschen (Swabian pasta), liver sausage with fried potatoes, gluten-free potato pancakes, cheese specialties, flammkuchen and onion tart (also vegetarian), waffles, gyros pita with fries, Transylvanian chimney cake, crêpes, rose fritters, curry, grilled, and knack sausages.

Red and white winemaker's mulled wine, mulled cider, hot cocktails, mead, aronia punch and juice, apple gin, Jagertee, egg liqueur, beer, hot chocolate, children's punch, tea, alcohol-free program at the lakeside Christmas.

Children's Activities: Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM - Scout Olympics & baking bread on a stick. On Saturday and Sunday at 4 PM, St. Nicholas will visit Breitenauer See.

Craft Demonstrations: Large and small artworks are created before the eyes of visitors. Wooden objects are turned, carved, or worked out with a chainsaw. Children can try their hand at candle making.

Fire Shows: The fire artists from "Feuerfest" will present an impressive show with fire fans, poi, devil sticks, and similar acts at the lakeshore below the first kiosk on both days starting at 5:30 PM.

Christmas Live Music: A barrel organ player, alphorn players, and other musicians can be enjoyed along the promenade.

Getting There & Hourly Shuttle Bus: An hourly shuttle bus operates during the event times from Wilssbach train station on alternating routes via Affaltrach and Eschenau as well as Löwenstein and Hößlinsülz directly to the entrance area of the lake. The fare is 1 Euro per single journey. Additionally, the recreational area has paid parking lots P1 and P2 with a large number of parking spaces, which are signposted on-site.
