The quartet led by Klaus Graf and Werner Acker kicks off the new year with a grooving soul jazz evening. Songs by Wayne Shooter, Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, and Buddy Johnson will be complemented by original compositions. Soul Jazz In the tradition of the soul/jazz of the 1960s, the quartet around Werner Acker has developed an extensive repertoire consisting of original compositions and songs by Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Eddie Harris, Joe Zawinul, James Brown, and Buddy Johnson. Look forward to a funky soul jazz concert featuring a magnificent alto saxophonist and a perfectly synchronized groovy rhythm section.
