The musical highlight of the city orchestra features works from symphonic and entertaining orchestral music. The annual concert of the city orchestra in spring (usually two weeks before Pentecost) is traditionally the musical highlight of the annual calendar and a reflection of the orchestra's performance capabilities. The range of concert pieces spans from classical works to symphonic wind music, as well as jazz, swing, and folk literature.
