Christmas Market Gundelsheim

Christmas market with festive atmosphere: lantern parade, Advent songs, castle tours, brass and choir concerts, as well as exhibitions on jewelry, art, and regional viticulture – three days full of music, culture, and Christmas spirit. The Christmas market in Gundelsheim delights visitors every year with its festive atmosphere and varied program. Music, culture, and shared Advent experiences make it a special meeting point during the pre-Christmas season. In addition to the cultural program, a visit to the exhibitions is also worthwhile: The Transylvanian Museum in Horneck Castle is open on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with free admission. In the foyer of the Deutschmeisterhalle, visitors can admire a jewelry and painting exhibition made of platinum and gold on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Additionally, the Kulturetta association is showcasing the exhibition "Viticulture in Gundelsheim" at Schloßstraße 19: Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Program on Friday at 5:00 PM: Lantern parade with the Christ Child and St. Nicholas from the town hall to Schloßstraße. Welcome and opening by Mayor Heike Schokatz. Children from the municipal daycare centers sing Christmas carols together and decorate the Christmas tree at the fountain. 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Musical entertainment by the "Brass Group Gundelsheim" at the fountain in Schloßstraße.
