We invite you to a special evening at the Versöhnungskirche Heumaden. The "Wortkino Theater" from Stuttgart, featuring actor Norbert Eilts and sound and visual designer Claudia Lahr, will present a performance about the life of Albert Schweitzer. This performance is titled "A Piano in the Jungle." Albert Schweitzer was a tropical doctor, musician, preacher, and philosopher - a timeless bearer of hope whose statements on reverence for life are still relevant in an age of political crises, climate change, and artificial intelligence. With faith in the individual, he demonstrated what one person can achieve even in dark times when they oppose resignation with action. Actor and artist Norbert Eilts pays tribute to the Alsatian who passed away in Africa (Gabon). Musical interludes accompany the vividly told, anecdote-filled life story of this extraordinary individual. On this evening, we will bid farewell to Pastor Charlotte Hahn-Mildenberger, who will take up a hospital chaplaincy in Stuttgart in mid-November. Following the event, we invite you to a reception.
