Moosenmättle Open Air

"The mountain is the stage," with this motto, the traditional Moosenmättle Open Air celebrates its 42nd event. Since the first event on August 5, 1983, the Moosenmättle Open Air has gained increasing regional significance and has transformed from a initially crazy idea into an event known beyond the Ortenau region with cult status. "Where the heck am I?" some visitors may wonder. However, the extraordinary event area on the Hochplateau Moosenmättle at the border stone of Baden and Württemberg remains undisputed. The venue is accessible via the valley communities of Wolfach-Kirnbach, Wolfach-Halbmeil, Hornberg, and Schramberg. Every year, around 1,500 visitors celebrate a long and hot night of music on the idyllic Hochplateau (783m above sea level) with a diverse program.
