Musica Mundi - Concerts for the New Year

The ensemble MUSICA MUNDI offers a New Year's celebration accompanied by "Music of the World" on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, each at 5:00 PM in the Martinskirche in Müllheim. After four sold-out concerts in the past two years, the ensemble has restructured itself for the musical transition into the year 2026. With Christiane Stolzenbach and Martin Klingler, as well as Jutta and Albrecht Haaf, two well-known musician couples from the region have come together to reinterpret the musical journey through time and space. Virtuoso classical music for violin and piano meets authentic Irish folk songs with harp and tin whistle. And Franz Liszt will have the unique opportunity to observe jazz pianist Chick Corea at work. The premiere of the Musica Mundi series for the New Year 23/24 already put the audience in an euphoric mood. In this new edition, MUSICA MUNDI will take listeners on a journey that starts with Edvard Grieg's "Klokkenklang" in the Norwegian tundra, gains momentum with J.S. Bach's "Italian Concerto," and ultimately accompanies the flamingo from Titisee to its longing destination on a Spanish island.
