Guided summer hike with Traufgänge Scout Marcus Lanz along the historic stagecoach route and to Mahlesfelsen, featuring breathtaking views and fascinating stories from days gone by. Off the beaten path. With Traufgänge Scout Marcus Lanz, you’ll hike along the Sieben-Kreuzle-Weg—an impressive medieval cart track with wagon ruts up to 30 cm deep. Do you know the tragic history of this trail? No? Marcus will tell you all about it. Once you reach the top of the plateau, the route takes you through the Fauna-Flora-Habitat protected area at the Heuberg military training area, featuring vast juniper heaths and unique calcareous grasslands with rare flowers and plants. A fantastic view from the Mahlesfelsen over Albstadt-Ebingen to Straßberg rounds off the summer tour before we begin the descent back to the starting point.
