Winter tour for registered groups

From November 3, 2025, to the end of March 2026, Monday to Friday (excluding December 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026), your visit begins in the exhibition "Traces of the Pile Dwellers" at the New Museum by the lake, where some of the most beautiful original finds from the UNESCO World Heritage site of the pile dwellings are displayed. Here, you will see the craftsmanship and art of the pile dwellers, wall paintings, completely preserved stone axes, 5000-year-old apples, and the all-purpose glue that was also used to make chewing gum. Following this, you will enjoy a guided tour lasting about 45 minutes through the reconstructed villages of the Stone and Bronze Ages (4000-850 BC). On wooden walkways, we will accompany you to the authentically furnished pile dwelling houses on the water, where you will learn everything important about life back then.
