"Rock'n Roll, I don't play anything else" - Spider Murphy Gang shows that rock music has no age. With hits like "Skandal im Sperrbezirk" and "Schickeria," they stormed the charts years ago. Since the 80s, the Munich band has been singing in their Bavarian dialect into the hearts of their fans, and with great success! Whether in small venues or large arena shows, the Spider Murphy Gang can do it all. Founded in 1977, they initially performed every Sunday as the house band at the Schwabing "Memoland." After releasing a self-produced record and gaining attention from radio and television presenter Georg Kostya, they achieved breakthrough success. This led to their first record deal and their first tour in 1980. A lot has happened since then - their 40th band anniversary was celebrated in 2017 with two sold-out shows at the Olympiahalle, they released two gold albums, "Skandal im Sperrbezirk" became a triple number-one hit, and they were even referred to as "Covered Berry" by Chuck Berry, alongside names like the Beatles and Rolling Stones, and recognized as representatives of rock 'n' roll.
