"Raunächte" translates to "Twelve Nights" or "The Twelve Nights" in English. It refers to the period between Christmas and Epiphany, traditionally associated with various customs and beliefs in German-speaking cultures.

The time between the years, the Rauhnächte, is attributed a very special and even sacred significance. During a tour of the old town, some of the rules and rituals are explained that help to safely navigate this magical time. Small stories, told at the appropriate locations, illustrate what can happen if the rules of the Rauhnächte or the nights of divination are not followed.
