German Timber Frame Day

In the old town of Eberbach, there are over 50 half-timbered buildings with exposed timber framing. In addition, there are many plastered houses waiting for their "exposure." A gentle walk will introduce you to the most important half-timbered buildings, their construction history, and their unique features. The foundations of the houses are mostly made of sandstone, which will also be examined in detail. It is little known that Eberbach also had a brickworks and even a steam brick factory, which supplied the roofing for the half-timbered buildings.
